Thought Spring was here, the last few weeks have been unseasonably warm and dry in ID and MT.  Saturday morning we awoke to fresh snow!  So the weekend has had us scratching our heads and wondering about outdoor activities?  Be sure to check out my fresh pictures through the link above.

Winter is here, the house is for sale, and I am moving to Idaho!  I will be spending most of my time in Butte MT, of course, but will be working in Northern Idaho.

Over the holidays I took a great trip down to the lower 48.Got there just in time to enjoy the record snowstorms that hit Seattle and Portland. The intent was to get away from the snow, but once again my status as a “Weather God” was well documented. Pictures to come………..

Over the long weekend I attempted to go on a short paddling trip to Tangle Lakes. Little did I know, it was still frozen solid

 The kayak is still coming along, I am getting closer to a boat! I still need to spend some time with the sander , glass the deck, and install the rudder and cockpit coamings and seats.
*edit, the kayak was finished and took several trips down the chena and tanana river this summer.
